2019 SACNAS – The National Diversity in STEM Conference in Hawaiʻi
The 2019 SACNAS – The National Diversity in STEM Conference is the largest multidisciplinary and multicultural STEM diversity event in the United States. SACNAS (Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics & Native Americans in Science) is an inclusive organization that for more than 46 years has fostered the success of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans – from college students to professionals – in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM. Their Hawaiʻi meeting was the largest in their history, welcoming over 5,000 attendees for their three day conference.

AOGS 2018
The Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) 2018 Annual Meeting provides a unique opportunity of exchanging scientific knowledge and discussion to address important geo-scientific issues among academia, research institution and public. AOGS 2018 marks the first time the Society has met in the United States. Hawaiʻi provided the perfect backdrop for their meeting and helped increase their attendance numbers to 3,600 - making this their largest meeting to date
